About our Physiotherapists
Katie is a state registered Chartered Musculskeletal Physiotherapist. She graduated with a 1st class honours degree from Southampton University in 2000. Katie has been lucky to have worked in large teaching hospitals in Leicester and Winchester, in the Ministry of Defence, at Sport and Leisure Facilities and in Private Practice. This has provided her with valuable knowledge and experience in treating sports injuries, orthopaedic, rheumatological and neuro- musculoskeletal conditions.
Through attending regular post graduate courses and a wealth of experience she has developed a wide range of treatment techniques. Katie’s hands-on, holistic treatment approach combined with her physiotherapy skills has given her great success in treating musculoskeletal injuries, rheumatological disorders, rehabilitation post-surgery, all aspects of elderly care and pain management.

Katie also runs the charity Romsey Arthritis Hydrotherapy Group, which provides affordable group hydrotherapy classes for adults with all types of rheumatological conditions.

Prior to this, Katie’s first degree was in Diagnostic Radiography where she gained
valuable diagnostic skills at Guys and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. These
skills have proved extremely useful in her physiotherapy practice.
Outside of work she enjoys a fun and hectic family life. She has two sport-mad boys and enjoys running to keep her sane!
